Rhod-5F Azide

A red-shifted Ca2+ sensor. It is click-chemistry ready enabling easy conjugation with antibodies, proteins and other biomolecules. It can label the biomolecule of choice in-vitro or in-cellulo and is relevant to diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Kufor Rakeb syndrome. In this figure (Narayanaswamy et al., Nat. Methods, 2018), coelmocytes of C. elegans were labeled with CalipHluor (pH and Ca2+ sensor) and imaged in the Rhod-5F channel.
